The Change

People say that changes in our life are good for us. I for a change have photographed myself.  Is it good for me … ?   I don’t know 😀

  1. It’s an excellent self-portrait. I would consider toning down the watch a little. As the brightest point in the photo, it steals attention from your face, which is the point of the image. However, as an ad for the watch, it would work very well. Overall, the look is masculine and a little gritty, and I love that. The depth in your gaze matches the moody lighting and the high contrast. Beautiful work!

      • To be honest with you, I have no clue of how to use the flash lights. And what I did was, just put the flash of the left of me with a diffuser on, a reflector on the opposite side an that was my all set up the rest was trial and error method 😉 Kept me busy though 😉

      • Honestly, using one flash and a cold/cool constant light or a reflector (like you used) a lot of times is much more controllable. Sometimes trying to use and control 2 flashes can be a bunch of adjustment option that just complicate the shoot.

  2. Very nice shot. I think I might like the shot better with no watch at all, though it is a bit hard to imagine now, and a minor point as the rest is excellent – nice textures.

  3. After quite a bit of thought I’ve decided I agree with some of the comments about the watch – with it you’ve produced a very good photograph; without it the photograph would be superb.
