Frosty
While walking in Arklow I could see the snow on top of the Highest Mountain in Co Wicklow – Lugnaquilla. Got so excited and decided to go there for climbing. It wasn’t as cold as it supposed to be for winter time but on the top is usually colder than at the sea level. After an 1.5 h drive I finally got to the bottom where the trail starts. Hmmm… it was literally too warm and the summit was absolutely covered with clouds. I did get lost on number of times in these conditions in the past and the thought of that wasn’t encouraging me much. I thought I might drive around and take some photos for a change but taking photos of the clouds… no I didn’t like it.
Got some food and decided to hike up, I didn’t come there for nothing I thought… Don’t want to moan any more. 🙂 Did get to the top and also did my first winter climbing 🙂 It cleared up in the end 🙂

If the third shot is from the summit then it looks like things turned out fine eventually. Looks like there’s some impressive hoar frost on that sign
It was indeed but it was all melting quite fast I have to say 😦
I love the 2nd shot.
Out of curiosity… do you use a crop sensor camera? I’m always amazed at how little distortion your wide angle shots have!
You are right I do use cropped sensor camera. But also I do use a lens correction in PS. And when compose the image I do make sure whether I want or not to have it distorted 😉
