Sea Sand

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon when I headed to Magheramore Beach in Co Wicklow. It seemed to be a nice whole day in my place until I got found myself around Wicklow town on N11 where sudden blizzard struck my car.Β  For the first time this year I saw a snow fall, yea!!!. It was gone quicker than it appeared though.Β  Crazy weather patterns ha?? When I got to the beach the place was bathed in a sunshine and no mark of falling snow there at all πŸ™‚

I had been told by a friend that the beach is often visited by the surfers, who were to be my main subject to photograph that day, and they were there indeed. But the sea was very calm and the waves were high up to maybe half a meter only, and honestly nothing spectacular was happening there. So I quickly changed the subject and started investigating the drawings painted on the sand…

How cool is that?? πŸ™‚

And yes I will go there again as I want to photograph those surfers πŸ˜‰

  1. These are really something – so much more satisfying than the average surfer shot. I love these miniature landscapes.

  2. That is some amazing structures. Both colours and light brings out the beauty of the sand. The pictures look like landscapes taken far above the ground. Simply gorgeous.

    • Hey
Thank you for your comment. I am really glad that these photos are so likeable πŸ™‚ Just thinking, when I took those photos I wasn’t sure what I will do with them, and here we are. I read very nice comments every day πŸ™‚ Thank you again.

  3. These are really nice photos. How did you make the colours of the sand so nice? I presume they aren’t natural (are they?).
